There is a passion within me to be creative and to use that creativity through design, whether through a custom-built website, new logo, wedding or event invitations, banners, or other projects.
Each project presents an opportunity to convey a bit of your story, drawing in customers or attendees through a sense of quality and personal connection. I love working together with people in their passions, to use my own passion to communicate what is unique and valuable about their business, product, or event.
This desire began in high school, when I designed and coded my first website. I quickly realized that working in the digital space as a designer and developer was the path I wanted to take, and I pursued a degree through Surry Community College to develop those skills.
In the years following, I have had opportunity to apply and further develop my skills through work in various roles. These ranged from an internship with Salem Baptist Church designing promotional materials and assisting with visual media and theatrical lighting design; to work with Yadtel Telecom and North Valley Media as a production assistant, social media marketer, graphic designer, and web developer; and work as a graphic specialist with Sports Solutions, assisting customers in design application for custom socks, sweatbands, and other promotional items.
My passion to work individually with clients grew through side projects during those years, leading to the decision to fully invest in my career as a freelance graphic designer. This transition came shortly after I became happily married to my wife, Melody, on January 4, 2020. She is a key element of inspiration and support for me and I’m thankful that God fit us together so well, in life and in our careers.
As I move forward along this path, I am constantly working to develop new skills and techniques, aiming to always become better and maintain a quality of excellence in the work I do.
